Mediascribe Vocabularies allow for better transcription and translation output, as they prime the speech processors with uncommon words, names, or phrases.

Configuration

Vocabularies are configured at the Preset level

Vocabularies are a collection of display content and sounds-like pairs. Place how you would like the content to be displayed in the left Content column. In the Sounds Like column, input one or many alternate pronunciations to aid the speech processor with recognition. Only the Content column is required.

Usage:

  • Hit the Plus icon to add your input data to the Vocabulary.

  • Hit the Minus icon to remove a single sounds-like value from the list.

  • Hit the Trash icon to remove the content and all its sounds-like pairs from the list.

  • Hit Save to apply the Vocabulary to the Preset.

You can specify up to 1000 words or phrases for your Vocabulary.
