Clerk Interface is a simple, mobile-friendly screen for starting and stopping recordings and checking their status. It allows users to manage recordings without logging in or accessing the backend.

 

The Clerk Slug for the interface includes a unique ID generated in MediaScribe settings.

  • You can regenerate the link as many times as needed.

  • Use the Preview button in settings to see how the screen will appear.

  • Click Copy Link to share access with the person managing the recording through the Clerk Interface.

In the Clerk Interface, the only available function is a Start/Stop Recording button. The video status is displayed above the button, while the captions status appears below it, indicating when captions have started or stopped.
